What we did in class, today – I returned students’ flash memories at the beginning of class; their marked Essay 5 was on their flash memories. Then, we reviewed and discussed Reading technique: contextual clues. Afterwards, students took the contextual clues reading quiz in MyGUST. While this quiz is for a mark, it does not count as part of the three Empower3000 articles that must be read and the activities completed before Friday, May 2.

What we will do in class on Tuesday, April 29 – Students will write Essay 6, which is a timed, in-class argumentative essay. Be sure to bring your laptop, flash memory, and power cord. You will upload Essay 6 to Turnitin and submit your flash memory to me before the end of class.
