Citations

What we did in class, today – Students cited the sources of their paraphrased information in Essay 3 after reviewing the pdf file Citing Sources. I emphasized that students must cite any ideas that are not their own and any quotations. Fahad in Section 55 shared one of his body paragraphs.

The initial cause for people to choose to go to a fast food restaurant rather than prepare their own meal is because it is way faster. Derek Bryan (2014), in the article “Reasons People Eat Junk Food Instead of Healthy Food,” said that ready food – such as vegetables and meat – take time to cook properly; however, fast food products usually finish within minutes. For example, if a person has to go to work at 7 am, he does not have time to go to the kitchen, get out some fresh food, and wait for about 30 minutes for his food to cook. He might as well just go to any fast food restaurant, where he has to wait for about 3 minutes to get a really delicious burger. He could also eat the burger while driving to save some time. In short, saving time is probably the most important reason for eating at fast food restaurants.
