What we did in class, today – Class will not meet today because I am ill. However, students can earn bonus credit by attending the keynote speech “In Praise of Exile” in W6-200 (located in the conference center behind Caribou Coffee) from 3-4 p.m., today, Wednesday, April 22, and writing a three-paragraph summary of the talk. Another chance to earn bonus credit is by writing a three-paragraph summary of the keynote speech “: Bilingual Advantages: Understanding and Using the Cognitive Gains of Bilingualism,” tomorrow (Thursday, April 23) in W6-200 at 10:00 a.m. If you choose to write the one or both of the summaries, your work must be your own. Also, the summary/summaries must be submitted within the first 10 minutes of class on Monday, April 27. Submit your summaries on your flash memory. Late submissions will not be accepted.
