Reading practice

What we did in class, today – Students worked on the Activity for “How Much for a Glass of Water?” Next, we worked on increasing our reading speed, using the handout “Culture Shock.” I announced that the submission deadline for the process essay has been extended to Thursday at 11:59 p.m. I also showed how to check for plagiarism. Students were reminded that departmental policy requires that papers that include 6% plagiarism automatically receive a ‘0.’
