Achieve3000 Level-Set Diagnostic

What we did today – I distributed Achieve3000 usernames and passwords. Students were instructed to go to their Achieve3000 inboxes and to check for the six reading assignments I sent them.  Three are to be finished before midnight on Monday, Feb. 1. The other three must be completed before midnight on Friday, Feb. 5. Then, students took the Achieve3000 Level-Set Diagnostic.

Homework

  • Read Achieve3000 articles “Age of Revolution: Haiti’s Fight To Be Free,” “Age of Revolution: Cinco de Mayo: An Important Day,” and “Butterflies Doing Better” and complete the corresponding Activities before midnight on Monday, Feb. 1. (These articles are available in your Achieve3000 inbox.)
  • Read Achieve3000 articles “Global Conflicts: Putting an End to Child Labor,” “Deep Sea Treasure,” and “What Kids Eat at School” and complete the corresponding Activities before midnight on Friday, Feb. 5. (These articles are available in your Achieve3000 inbox.)
  • My oral feedback on your introduction rough draft will be available in Turnitin on Friday. Be sure to listen to it.

What we will do on Sunday, Jan. 31 – We will write our first body paragraph.
