What we did in class, today – Students took the Pearson reading comprehension test on ‘Photojournalism in the Age of Media’.
Homework – Complete any Pearson assignments you have not done before 11:59 p.m., tonight, June 30. Tomorrow, a ‘0’ will be awarded for any missing Pearson assignments.
What we will do in class, Monday, (July 1) – Students take a practice reading comprehension test to prepare for the reading exit exam.
- Writing Exit Exam – July 2 – Students will be given a cause or effect writing prompt and a problem-solution writing prompt. They will choose one of them to write a five-paragraph, 500-word, in-class essay.
- Reading Exit Exam – July 3 – Students will read two passages and answer eight questions about each passage, for a total of 16 questions.
- Conference Hours for Exit Exams – 9:00 a.m. – 9:50, July 4, in W5-201; 11:00 a.m.-12:50 p.m., July 4, in W1-170; 2:00-2:50 p.m., July 4, in W4-102. Please note that these will be the only times to conference regarding the exit exams.
