What we did in class, today – Students completed the reading exam practice in MyGUST to prepare for the reading exit exam on Wednesday, July 3.
Course Grade – Midterm 2 has been marked. Today is the last day to let me know if an error has been made in marking it. Also, all Pearson marks are current.
What we will do in class, Tuesday, (July 2) – Students will take the writing exit exam.
Exit Exams
- Writing Exit Exam – July 2 – Students will be given a cause or effect writing prompt and a problem-solution writing prompt. They will choose one of them to write a five-paragraph, 500-word, in-class essay.
- Reading Exit Exam – July 3 – Students will read two passages and answer eight questions about each passage, for a total of 16 questions.
- Conference Hours for Exit Exams – 9:00 a.m. – 9:50, July 4, in W5-201; 11:00 a.m.-12:50 p.m., July 4, in W1-170; 2:00-2:50 p.m., July 4, in W4-102. Please note that these will be the only times to conference regarding the exit exams.
