What we did in class today – Students practiced for the review essay by revising Tuesday’s essay for logical and lexical coherence. They were also reminded that a review essay differs from a regular argumentative essay. Their revised essay was downloaded and submitted to Classwork 15 before the end of the class.
Homework – Read Pearson Revel Chapter 12 and complete quizzes 12.1, 12.2, and 12.3 before 10 p.m. April 9. (Do NOT do the Writer’s Desk exercises.
What we will do on Sunday, April 3 – The class will meet in the computer lab to write a review essay worth 20% of their course grade. Students should be at least five minutes early so that they will be ready to start writing at the beginning of the class.
